Who is TOD?

TOD Candles was born from a love of scenting your space with luxe fragrance notes.

We love beautiful scents but what we love more, is when that scent matches our vibe, or creates an ambience that aligns to or elevates our mood. We recognize that each day, moment, idea and interaction is different… and whilst you may have a favourite scent, it could differ depending on how you are feeling.

And so TOD was created, a candle brand with fragrances deliberately chosen to enhance certain moments and make your day as unique as you are.

Our ambition is to be unique, distinctive and a representation of all the things we love, to allow people to make time in their day to celebrate the little things and ultimately, find moments of connection and happiness. Our candles are inspired by memories, brought to life through subtle fragrance notes and beautiful structures.

Inspired by our Dalmatian DOT, the brand is elegant yet personable and is coloured with delicate hints of black and white spots. TOD is a true reflection of her personality; the epitome of everyday elegance wrapped in pure joy.

  • Where are your candles made?

    All our candles are hand poured in Melbourne Australia.

    TOD Candles are 100% Australian Made and Owned.

  • Are your candles cruelty free?

    Yes!

    All our candles are made from 100% Soy Wax and our fragrance oils are not tested on animals.

  • How do you match scents, to different times of the day?

    Our fragrances are deliberately chosen to enhance certain moments and make your day as unique as you are. The scents are chosen based on our own personal experiences and where we felt most empowered.

  • What does the black line in the candle represent?

    Due to the shape of the bottles, you are unable to burn the candle to the bottom. To help maximize your experience and maintain your safety, we have included a line to indicate where you can burn to.

  • Why is the surface of my candle lumpy after burning?

    Our wax is 100% natural, with no nasties - when it settles sometimes lumps or holes can appear.

    Yellow discoloration is normal due to the affects of sunlight & and the affects of the fragrance oil.

    As these are purely aesthetic imperfections, they will not affect the burning and efficacy of your candle.

  • Do I need a plate for my molded candles?

    Molded candles must be placed on a plate when burning.

    We recommend placing a plate under any molded candles (even if they are only to be used for styling) so they don’t stain or damage any surfaces.
